Of course, it depends on the context and the budget. Thus, eight months is the maximum limit of the sustainability of lip fillers’ effects. Nevertheless, aestheticians believe that there are no apparent and direct side effects of lip fillers.

Efficacy of Lip Fillers

Some recent studies, however, have shown that there are a few side effects of lip fillers. Slight swelling, for a week or two, and dislocation of the lips are most apparent amongst them. It is necessary to mention here that the quality and quantity of the products play a vital role. That is, if the products, being used in the lip filling are of high quality, there are no risks of any side effects. Likewise, if the beautician is skillful the results would be satisfactory.

On the other hand, if the products are of low quality there are chances of the side effects of taking place. Thus, the side effects can be the two that are mentioned above. Still, the risk chances are very rare. This infers that you have to keenly research the product and the beautician before taking the lip filling surgery. Thus, the procedure of lip filling is very safe and secure if your beautician is skillful and the products of high quality.

Slight Pain and Prick

The process of lip filling is not that much painful. Rather, a slight pain of injection can be felt. Of course, it would be brief and temporary. Typically, this is the pain of the needle when it is inserted and would last in a day or two. However, the beautician has to place a numbing cream prior to the process to avoid the pain.
